Family Involvement

Hallett Cove East Primary School values the active involvement of our school community, particularly the support of parents and family members across various school programs. We encourage parents to engage with our Governing Council, Sports, Canteen, and general volunteering initiatives, which are integral to enriching our students’ educational experience.

Our after-school sports programs and school excursions rely on dedicated volunteers to ensure student participation and safety. Our fantastic canteen relies on volunteers to run special lunch order days, making school events truly special. All volunteers are required to undergo a DHS approved Child Related Criminal History Check through the school before commencing their roles. Additionally, volunteers must complete online training courses on Reporting Abuse and Neglect as well as Volunteer Training, ensuring they are well-informed on confidentiality, duty of care, and work health and safety guidelines.
